To implement a VoIP capable phone system to replace their old analog PBX in Tokyo which had failed.
+ ISDN connection to the Japan phone network
+ Cisco handsets

Solution:

Denphone installed an Asterisk server in the Embassy's Roppongi Tokyo office as a replacement for an old legacy analog PBX which had stopped working. Connections were made to the NTT Phone network via an ISDN BRI card. Cisco IP phones were connected to the Asterisk Server. The system was up and running within a day or so of the old PBX failure.
