Case Study 13: NEC-SCHOTT

    Objective

To implement an Ericsson VoIP phone system to replace their old analog PBX in Shiga prefecture.

    • 2x INS1500 PRI trunk connection to the Japan PSTN
    • 200 Ericsson IP phones for staff based in factory and office
    • 2 PRI port Voxstream J1-E1 gateway

    Solution

Denphone assisted HP/Damovo/NPV in the installation of a two server (primary/hot standby) Ericsson based PBX system. Connections were made to the NTT Phone network via a PRI card. 200 Ericsson IP phones were connected to the MX-ONE Servers, and a Voxstream 2 port PRI gateway was used to connect to NTT INS1500 lines. Analog devices were also connected to the MX-ONE unit.
