+ Integrate click-to-dial into the in-house CRM system
+ Add voicemail and smart call redirection features
Solution:
Denphone rolled out Asterisk servers in the Tokyo and Osaka offices connected to the existing NTT PBX's via J1 PRI cards. The two servers were connected via IAX2 over the office VPN. Dialplans were designed to route inter-office calls over the new trunk connection, and allow full bidirectional connections between legacy phones and new Asterisk IP phone. The dialplans included use of Asterisk Voicemail and call redirection (cascade) features. Click-to-dial scripts were provided to the IT department for in-house developers to use. The PC applications Firefly and DIAX were demonstrated as PC soft-phone solutions.
