Volunteers have announced that a VoIP & Asterisk Lounge will be held in Kansai for the first time on April 16th. Every month a VoIP & Asterisk Lounge is held in Tokyo with around 30 people attending on average. Running along the same lines as the Tokyo event, the VoIP & Asterisk Lounge in Kansai is an opportunity for various people in the VoIP community to meet and freely discuss various topics including VoIP, Asterisk and telephone systems in general.

The first meeting will be held in a similar style to Tokyo, with people meeting over drinks. The meeting place in Togano-cho, Umeda, Osaka at Vitamin Bar Albada. Everyone is welcome to attend the VoIP Lounge in Kansai.
